Junior Sailers

Is your child over the age of 7, able to swim 25 meters and do they love being outdoors?

Enroll them in our Junior Sail Program

Commencing in October each year, TCYC has a solid training program. Students start off in Mudlarks before graduating onto Minnows then Flying Ants, even 29ers

The club maintains a fleet of each class, so you don't even have to provide a boat for your child (unless they deserve to be spoilt)

Everyone is welcome to come down Saturday mornings and have a look, you just never know....

Get out on the water

We call it sailing, but you don't have to actually have a sail on your boat. The main thing is that you're on your boat and out on the beautiful waters of Cockburn Sound. Maybe nipping across to one of Garden Islands sandy beaches, Rottnest Island for a barbeque, an overnighter or maybe even heading off on that round-the-world trip you've planned all your life

There's bound to be something for you with TCYC

Racing

The summer season starts in September, with club events most weekends in classes ranging from the mighty Minnow for the youngsters, Flying Ants, Yvonnes, several divisions of keel-boats and the latest arrival - the 29ers

TCYC is the host for two of the state's premiere sailing events, the Capalpa Classic and the Cockburn Sound Regatta

Twilight Sailing

With Perth's sultry summer nights and sea breezes what better way to settle your dinner than a run along the Sound in company and a few laughs. Easy on the tipple though, unless you're sleeping over

Family Days

Every day is a family day, but some days are meant to be more so. Instead of leaving the loved ones on the beach to watch you battle on the stormy brine, throw in the esky and a cricket set and take part in one of our rally days. Gives you a chance to show them landlubbers what it's all about
